    Everybody, if you are reporting errors could you please provide me with the following information:
    • The version of the sheet you are using (version number and type such as “A4” or “Letter”);
    • The software you are using to view the sheet (including the software’s version number);
    • What you are doing when the error occurs (e.g. "Generating a Spell Sheet for a Tiefling Cleric level 12");
    • In case of the Character Record Sheet: the JavaScript error code that the sheet produces (if you don’t see an error code, make sure that showing JavaScript errors is enabled. You can do this by going to: Edit >> Preferences (Ctrl + K) >> JavaScript; and putting a checkmark in the box labelled “Show console on errors and messages”).

    I will need a little bit more information. What do you mean with "Well, now DCI function has stopped working.."? Both the "Adventure League" bookmark and the "League" button in the "JavaScript Window" work fine on my machine, but maybe there is something else what you mean with "DCI function"?

    As for the max HP (I am assuming the max XP is a typo), I don't think many people play the game like that, that everybody gets the maximum Hit Points at each level, so I don't think it is worth adding a button for. Besides, the Hit Point mouseover (tooltip) text already provides you with that information, so all your players have to do is copy that number if they want the maximum HP. Almost as little effort as pressing a button

    I will need some more information, because I am unable to reproduce either of these errors. Besides the list I gave at the top of this post, could you also tell me:
    • The operating system you are using (it is very likely that the missing character is something that Mac causes, but is handled ok in Windows). I added a zero-width-space in the "Pouch" code so that it wouldn't add to "Component pouch". On Windows that zero-width-space is handled just like that, an invisible character, but this might be completely different on Mac, or might be caused by the font missing something.
    • How are you adding the 11th level Bard to the sheet? Are you typing "Bard 11" into the class field? Or typing "11" into the level field? Or first typing "Bard" into the class field, and then upgrading the xp? or another way? or did you import the character? is Bard the only class the character has, or is it multiclassing? Or did you type "Bard 11 (College of Lore)"? because then you are effectively adding Bard twice, once as level 11, and once as level 1.

    Thank you Boomerkoji, it is nice to read such friendly responses and to have a community that reports all the bugs that they find.

    Also, I forgot to say this earlier, but I love your avatar!

    • The version of the sheet you are using (version number and type such as “A4” or “Letter”);

    Version 11.38 Letter

    • The software you are using to view the sheet (including the software’s version number);

    Adobe Acrobat Reader DC v 2015.016.20041

    • The operating system you are using (it is very likely that the missing character is something that Mac causes, but is handled ok in Windows). Windows 10.

Or did you type "Bard 11 (College of Lore)"? because then you are effectively adding Bard twice, once as level 11, and once as level 1.

    Type Bard in class field. Then go to Level field and type 11. Then agree to upgrade XP. Choose College of Lore. Let it do its calculations. Go to the class features field and look at the bottom entry. It reads:

    ◆ Magical Secrets (Bard 10, PHB 54) [two spells/cantrips]
    I can add two spells/cantrips from any class to my spells known; +2 at level 14 & 18Bardic Inspiration (Bard 1, PHB 53) [d6, Charisma modifier per short rest]

    It is taking the 1st level Inspiration and adding it onto the Magical Secrets entry. The real inspiration (with the proper die type) is included in the class features list previously.

    I hope that is more specific. I was able to repeat this error multiple times consistently in the course of typing this post.

    Thank you for the specifics, that really helped me to narrow down what is going on. I was looking in the wrong place for Bardic Inspiration, I thought you meant it was put in the Limited Features section two times. This only occurs if you are levelling up a Bard, so that was essential information as well. Now that I am able to reproduce the problem I am able to fix it. Thank you for reporting it!

    As for the pouch thing, it seems to be something that Acrobat changed very recently in their handling of fonts, but I have a workaround that I think should solve the problem. Again thank you for reporting.

    I just updated the MPMB's Character Record Sheet v11.39 (25-5-2016) with the following changelog:
    • Bug fixes for “Bardic Inspiration” (thanks devincutler for reporting)
    • Bug fixes for “Pouch” in the equipment section (thanks devincutler for reporting)
    • Added the options to have the sheet automatically add average/fixed/max Hit Points, just Ctrl/Shift/Cmd-click on the “Max Hit Points” field (as suggested by SpaceCasey)

    It was 11.38.. What happened was I clicked on League, the DCI all worked normally.. Got the adventure log on my screen.. Decided to go into Layout and remove the Logsheet.. It also removed the other DCI functions, such as HP.

    So you mean that the Max HP field was empty (i.e. it no longer showed the fixed HP) after you removed the adventurers logsheet?
    I am unable to reproduce this with both 11.38 (Letter) and 11.39 (A4), although I didn't try all versions...
    Can you reproduce this? Maybe it is something with your machine or software?

    this is a small video.. in it I try and break your newest upload. (VIDEO ISNT UPLOADING TO DROPBOX) Using 11.39 (letter) Make a character, add in a hp manually.. Then press the League button, then remove the LOG sheet, then replace the hp to any number.. And then click on AL once more to try and get it to return to having the DCI.. I know it's confusing, but it's just a matter of multiple hp/dci testing..

    I am sorry, but I am still not completely following. I think it has something to do with what you mean with "DCI". Nothing in my sheet is called "DCI" except the "DCI Number" that is on the top of the first page, and on top of every Adventure Logsheet, but I don't think you are referring to that. DCI is the official sanctioning body for competitive play from Wizards of the Coast, but I don't think you are referring to them either. Am I correct in assuming you are referring to the fixed hit points value (i.e. the hit points value you get when you take a fixed value for every level, as you are supposed to do in Adventurers League play)?

    I did just notice a tiny error in my updated HP-functionality from 11.38 to 11.39 where pressing the "League" button did not immediately update the HP value to the fixed HP value. It only updated after a class, race, level, HD, or Constitution change. So that is something I will fix.

    However, the process that you are describing has some misunderstandings in it:
    - The "League" button is a toggle for the Adventurers League settings in the sheet. Pressing it once activates those settings, and pressing it a second time deactivates those settings. In your workflow you first active it, then remove the Logsheet, and then deactivate the functions, which will logically never "get it to return to having the DCI".
    - When the "League" button is active (i.e. the sheet is set to using the Adventurers League settings), you can still manually change the maximum hit points. The sheet will only force the calculated 'fixed' value into the field whenever you change something that might affect the value. So only when you change the class, race, level, HD, or Constitution score. This is intentional, because if I would force the field to always re-calculate to the fixed value, nobody would be able to alter the hit points if some thing affects it that is not part of the sheet's automation (a magic item, for example).

    The good news is that I introduced a new feature in version 11.39 that helps you on your quest to setting the HP back to some calculated value after you manually changed it. Simply hold "Ctrl" or "Shift" or "Cmnd" while clicking on the HP field and you will get a menu with options.

    But on second thought it might be better to add just another button to make the functionality more obvious.... What do you think?

    A button may be better because there is no "Cmnd" button on my keyboard.
