Please note that you can now also generate a spell sheet with the Character Record Sheet PDF. There you can add/edit spells using the "add custom code" feature. The FAQ explains how that works.
Thank you! I guess I'll try the character sheet as well.

I found one error in the latest version.
when i type Healing Potion in the Equipment Section the Sheet Auto calculate it and it says that the weight of 1 potion is 10lbs.

OK....We have given this sheet a lot of use now and 1 thing that would be nice is for the giant 'notes' section on the companion sheet to be divided between inventory, a portrait, and notes.

Inventory and a portrait would be very useful in place of the giant half page of notes.

Are you talking about an inventory for the companion? and a portrait of the companion?

    of course.....perhaps I wasn't clear.

very often companions carry burdens. and portraits are just plain fun.

Seems like a good idea. Let's see what MPMB says.

Thank you for informing me about this. Apparently what happens is that the code matches "healing potion" with "pot" (i.e. the iron pot of 10 lb in the PHB). It does not recognize it as a "potion of healing" because all the characters have to match (this is because I didn't feel like writing a regular expression for all the different gear). I will fix it in the next version so that only whole words are recognized, hopefully fixing any problems with gear being recognized

More people have asked about a portrait for the companion sheet, so that is definitely something I will look into. Equipment is a lot more work to add, however. Are you thinking about a full equipment section like the one on the second/third page, or smaller?

perhaps just 10 lines or so. it's very common to store burdens on mules, horses, mounts, servants...etc

It doesn't need to be complicated but it would be more useful than half the entire page dedicated to 'notes'.

perhaps item name/quantity/weight bonus points for an autocalculating carry weight line.

this sheet is your baby though.. whatever you think is best.

    Hey MPMB!

Still using your sheet it's still the bomb! Love all the new changes you've put into it. Now the other part lol. I like that you can put the DC save in the weapons area on page 1. How ever if you are a warlock (those pesky warlocks) and you have a rod of the pact keeper magic item it will only show you the base DC for save in the weapon area. You can modify DC's in the spell sheet (PDF) and on the DC in the upper middle of page 1. Maybe you can point the weapon DC to use the number that is modified on page 1 in the upper middle? Seems like I'm being picky but I'm not trying to be just letting you know about this.

Thanks again for an awesome 5E character generator!

Hi RaTath, there is indeed no direct way to increase the DC, but there is an indirect way: simply write '+[NUMBER]' in the attack's name (for example "Thunderclap +1") and you will see the DC and the damage increase by that amount. Now if you don't want the damage to increase, but only the DC, you can add a negative number in the damage modifier field ("-1" in this case) to balance it out.

    Hope this helps!
